Abel Lloyd Shines in Season Opener at Topeka Kansas QMA
Eight-year-old Abel Lloyd kicked off his highly anticipated 2025 season this past weekend with a visit to the asphalt oval at the Topeka Kansas Quarter Midget Association (QMA) in Topeka, Kansas.
After Saturday’s Spring Arrive and Drive event, Abel got off to a strong start on Sunday as the Lawrence, Kansas native drove to a heat race victory. Starting from the pole in the feature, Lloyd cruised to a commanding win in his first night out.
In the event marked as the first round of points, Lloyd set the pace early and positioned himself for a strong season in his Lloyd Family Racing No. 7A BullRider Racecar.
